Godfrey Musvoto

Godfrey holds a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and is a registered professional planner with the South African Council for Planners (SACPLAN). He has led numerous development planning projects, including University Campus Master Plans and the formulation of sustainable urbanisation guidelines. With extensive academic experience as a senior lecturer and  head of the Department of Town and Regional Planning at the Durban University of Technology, Godfrey brings a deep understanding of sustainable development—an area central to TruSense’s mission. As a Non-Executive Director to TruSense, he provides strategic oversight and thought leadership, contributing his expertise in urban planning and sustainable infrastructure to guide the company’s long-term growth and impact.
